Problem #62

A certain small factory employs 98 workers. Of these 10 receive a wage of P 350 per day and the rest receive P 255 per day. To the management, a week is equal to 6 working days. How much does the factory pay out for each week?

Solution by Rzaruba2008 on October 27, 2008, 10:47 am

98-10 = 88
88 x (255 x 6) = 134,640
10 x (350 x 6) = 21,000
The factory pays 155,640/week.
