Solving Multi Step Equations 2
This tutorial will show you how to solve linear equations with multiple steps. In order to solve for y, you need to combine like terms. First, reduce by adding constants on the left hand side together, then next, you should combine like terms, y's, and then get y by itself with undoing mutliplication using division.
Solving multi step equations 2 video involves equations, expressions, multi step equations, solving equations.
The video tutorial is recommended for 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, and/or 12th Grade Math students studying Algebra, Calculus, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and/or Advanced Algebra.
Equations
An equation is a mathematical statement, in symbols, that two things are the same (or equivalent). Equations are written with an equal sign. Equations are often used to state the equality of two expressions containing one or more variables.
Expressions
An expression is a combination of numbers, operators, grouping symbols (such as brackets and parentheses) and/or free variables and bound variables arranged in a meaningful way which can be evaluated. Bound variables are assigned values within the expression (they are for internal use) while free variables can take on values from outside the expression.
Solving Equations
Solving an equation means finding a value for the variable that makes the equation true.
